Financial advisor to VINCI Airports for the concessions of 7 Airports in Cape Verde

Project description

VINCI Airports has won a 40-year concession contract from the Government of Cape Verde to operate seven airports in the country:

• four international airports: Praia, Sal, São Vicente and Boa Vista, 
• three domestic airports: São Nicolau, São Filipe and Maio.

VINCI Airports together with its Portuguese subsidiary ANA will be in charge of operations, maintenance, financing, expansion and modernisation of the airports.  

VINCI Airports also intends to execute its environmental action plan, which includes the generation of solar and wind power. 

The concession contract was signed on July 18, 2022. Contract and Financial close is expected to be complete within a year from signing.

Our role

Resonance Advisory has been mandated by VINCI Airports to assist it in the structuring of a financial offer for this project. Resonance Advisory will continue supporting VINCI airports until reaching financial close.

Our mission includes:

• Development of a complete financial model for the operation of 7 airports;
• Assistance in structuring a competitive offer for the project;
• Assistance in negotiating with potential lenders.
